5 Things you should consider before taking turmeric for joint pain
1. Your turmeric supplement must have Black Pepper (also commonly referred to as Piperine or Bioperine on the back of supplement bottles). Turmeric and black pepper go together like peanut butter and jelly. By taking turmeric with the pepper you increase the ABSORPTION of the turmeric in your body. Therefore making it more effective for your joint pain.
2. I have tried many different Turmeric supplements trying to find the right one and one important thing to keep in mind is look for it in capsule form. Turmeric is STRONG so there’s nothing worse then waking up in the morning to take your vitamins and having to taste this strong spice taste in your mouth while you drink your morning coffee. This one is my favorite: https://amzn.to/3fYdgRq
3. Be sure to take the recommended dose. Take dose is one capsule two to three times a day. Yes I know it’s a lot but consider the alternative of cooking with it 2-3 times a day, all your food would taste the same.
4. Take turmeric EVERYDAY. No skipping with this one otherwise it wont do you a lick of good. If you aren’t great with remembering to take vitamins this one might not be for you. That being said anyone can create a good habit if you do it everyday for 2-4 weeks so set a reminder alarm put the bottle in front of your coffee machine or put a post it on the door and absorb the goodness of this miraculous natural supplement.
5. Here’s the kicker with this joint pain reliever it takes a full 30 days to see some significant results. If you’re like me, swallowing vitamins aren’t exactly my favorite. So if I’m swallowing a few twice a day I better start feeling like freaking super women or I just don’t want to take them. Well visualize you feeling like super women in exactly 30 days and you wont regret it!
